Cross Creek adopts out a large number of kittens, cats and dogs every year. If we have the space, we can usually work with you to adopt out foundlings and other animals in need of homes. These pets have to be “adoptable” and be free of contagious disease or have treatable conditions. If you are turning over an animal to us for adoption, if it is a cat you must contribute the fee for an FELV/FIV combo test and for a dog, the fee for a 4Dx heartworm/tick borne illness test. Our adoption fees cover the puppy and kitten vaccine series and a spay/neuter, all done at very reduced cost. The fees are based on the age of the pet when we first received it, not the age at actual adoption, necessarily.
We do want to make the best match possible for both you and the animal, so some discussion will precede the adoption. Should the adoption not work out, we want you to return the animal to us, not destroy it or bring it to the shelter
We will try to keep posted the available animals. The current roster is listed in the far right column.
